Collapsed From The Desk After 2 Months.

Would recommend - yes

It ended up breaking after a few months of usage. The mic arm collapsed out of nowhere without even moving it, this resulted in the rubber piece coming off the mic arm.

Randomly Collapsed

Would recommend - no

I’ve technically owned 2 of these microphone arms. The first one arrived in the package with one of the joints broken, the other is a replacement that was working for a little over a year and then suddenly collapsed while I was overseas. Because its been over a year, it’s out of warranty so I can’t get a replacement. Now this could have been a freak occurrence but considering I’ve already had one turn up broken it didn’t surprise me. I would also say that the collapse was most likely not caused by user error, because of it working fine for over a year, and it randomly collapsing while no one was in the house.

Nice cable management slot along the whole arm. Being able to separate the whole arm and the mount is also a very nice touch, making repositioning it quite easy.

Does What It Is Meant To Do, Not The Most Flexible If You Need To Move It Around Frequently

If you keep your mic in a stationary spot then this mic stand will work perfectly for you.. I recommend getting a shock mount that has a knob for angle adjustments as you cannot rotate the connector on the X axis.

Very Capable, Sturdy, And Tidy Mic Arm.

Great length and the tension adjustment works well to suit the weight of your mic. The fact it has a ridge and clips to secure your cable is awesome, the clips just pop up too easily in my opinion, but this isn't a big issue as you can use a bulldog clip to secure the end of the cord which makes the rest stay in place. Overall great arm, hoping to get many years of use out of it.
