Beautiful, But Can't Recommend

Would recommend - no

It's an amazing/beautiful display - but the OLED burn-in issue is definitely a problem. After less than a month of casual use (mostly gaming) already seeing burn in (well burn-out I guess to be specific). Warranty will _not_ cover this, so really can't justify the high cost of this display, as beautiful as it is, it will be brief before you start having burn-in issues.

Great Purchase

Great purchase would recommend if you have the budget

Beautiful, Briefly

Would recommend - no

I somewhat knew what I was getting into with this. The first purpose built OLED monitor. As expected it is an amazing display, easily the best I’ve ever had. On paper it ticks all the boxes and if your desk is deep enough (you need to sit further back than standard) I recommend you give it a try. Also, of note, the soundbar is perfectly acceptable to my ears and is a nice bonus. The KVM switch is also very useful. However, there are a few things to be aware of that are bitter pills to swallow: - auto-dimming, if the display determines it has been static for some time (around a minute) it starts progressively dimming. This is to protect from burn in. Moving the mouse is not enough to undo this, you need to drag a window around or scroll a page. As a developer, I find this super annoying as tiled windows with slowly changing text are considered static content and trigger the behaviour. Thus I am always having to drag my windows around/randomly scroll to prevent auto dimming. - less annoying than above but still annoying is the auto-dimming of large white areas. Say a half screen sized browser window or a frame of a movie that is particularly bright. This is not as bad as it is very quick to do it but it can still be jarring. - if the display detects no input it turns itself off instantly, even if you just turned it on. This is super annoying (and probably a bug) if you are trying to diagnose a faulty input. - a minor issue, but an issue the same, the supplied cables are all too short to really be useful if you have your PC on the right side of the display. Overall, if you want to use an OLED as a monitor, with auto on/off (TVs stay on after inputs disconnect) and a warranty this is your best option right now. For me, I’ll probably try something else.

Best Monitor For Gaming, Movies/Tv And Work.

Would recommend - yes

OLED true blacks makes games look amazing, very immersive and allows ultra wide gaming for a 4k monitor. The black bars are not lit! KVM is the best feature for the hybrid gaming/work setup. I use the display port for gaming, and USB C connect to my work laptop. Also supports Nvidia G-Sync, not formally announced yet. Instead of buying two 1440p IPS gaming monitors, you should buy this instead!
