It's Alright

Would recommend - yes

For my computer setup it did not want to work and was ghost pressing buttons a ton, the longer it was plugged in the more it'd ghost press. I would not recommend if you have a AMD CPU setup.

Replacement For Failed Joystick Trigger

Would recommend - yes

A fantastic bit of kit (for Elite Dangerous), but could have hoped for spare part availability. I obviously was squeezing too hard for too ling on the primary trigger of the joystick, and so it broke. Took it apart but the shape and position of the trigger post made it almost impossible to fix, only choice was a complete new set, even though the joystick came separate to its base (and the bases are interchangeable, so my old base is still in use) so why not just sell the replacement joystick part?? be somewhat cheaper than having to splash out on both units. Logitech have not replied to this suggestion after about 18 months. Will probably change to a Verpil when this one goes.

Not Worth The Price.

Would recommend - yes

Joystick does not center properly, nor does Z axis, throttle is far from smooth, encoders and push buttons are poor quality and wiring is flimsy and does not last. Over priced for the quality of product.....do not purchase.

A Step Down From The X55

Would recommend - yes

Logitech took the X55 Rhino and did something weird with it. The good: -Comfortable HOTAS suitable for medium to large hands. -Unified black/silver finish, much nicer than the black/yellow warning stripes on the X55. -Marginally better driver support than the X55. Plug-and-play Microsoft Flight Simulator without any hassles. -Doesn't suffer the power issues the X55 has. The bad: -They gave it individually addressable RGB lighting that shows a myriad of colours, but only until you install the drivers. Then you're stuck with only one colour. -They changed the thumb button to a thumb stick. Weird change, the button was so much more convenient and comfortable. -The tensioner on the throttle barely works, a fault that carried over from the X55 and was never fixed. -Up to 10 degree drift in the joystick and far too much play in the dials, causing things like Trim in MSFS to be wonky. If you're itching for a well priced HOTAS it's still a valid choice but there are better, similarly priced options available from competitors (Thrustmaster for example).

I Enjoy Using Them

Would recommend - yes

I got them to play Star Citizen primarily, but also use them to play Microsoft Flight Sim occasionally and from my very casual use they are a great throttle/stick combo. I did get desk mounts to hold them in place but even without them they are sturdy & heavy enough to not need them. All of the buttons & switches feel good to use and all of the axis on the throttle and joystick feel good as well.
