i mightve been unlucky but this hard drive failed on me, almost after 8 months or so of use. very disappointing. it was starting to make noises and it failed one of the diagnostic checks that comes with the companys software. but shoutout to the company, i had contacted them and they checked it out and sent me a new one under warranty. only sucks that i had to make my own packaging for it and such.
