It's a brick. Perfect hard drive. Plug it in and forget about it for years.

Great product, working fine as expected. Also, these drives are more slim than the WD one that I purchased a few years ago.

Smooth Allrounder

Would recommend - yes

Obviously not recommended for OS partition. It's got a nice seek pace for its size. Perfect for intermediate archive (e.g. store recent project, downloads) or small team collab drive for large GB file projects. If I chose it and reviewed it, it's top-shelf.

Decent Enough

I bought this drive for some games I don't play all the time and storage, It good enough and will do the job though it can be really slow for steam updates on games that use compression for their updates.

It’s comically slow. So bad that it’s basically useless. You should advertise it as the crap SMR drive that it is.

Now I have a dedicated drive for videos! Works great, load times are fine, what you'd expect. And a really good price for 4TB. (Although as you know it's not all free space) But 100% would recommend.
