Good Value For Money

Would recommend - yes

This hard drive is designed for larger storage requirements, but with the caveat that it’s less ideal in a RAID environment. It’s still functional in a RAID setup, as I have 6 working fine, but the write performance will eventually be hindered due to being a SMR drive. Currently at roughly 50% usage in my RAID, they still achieve the max network transfer of 100Mbps, so no real concerns with write performance just now. Summary; great for backups/generic use, but eventually can have issues if using in a RAID environment. Giving the drive “downtime” (time without reading/writing specifically) will help keep the drive functioning at high performance.

I've not tested it's hardness, but it sure is a hard drive. It can apparently read and write as fast as a Barracuda. One of the best TB/$ Drive out there. 24 month warranty is a bit shy, though I'm sure it will last for years.
